Welcome
My name is Katie O’Hanley and I am currently in my third year of my Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Biology with a minor in Anthropology at Mt. Allison University. For the summer of 2010 upon my graduation, I have decided to join Operation Wallacea, which is an organization that conducts biological and conservation management research in remote locations around the world. My expedition with Operation Wallacea will be focused on researching in the bush of South Africa and Mozambique. During my four weeks in the field as a Research Assistant, I will be working with teams of university academics from around the world who specialize in different aspects of wildlife conservation allowing me to gain hands-on experience with large mammals and birds.
